Account Fees

The account fees are taken as a percentage of your assets (excluding cash or cryptocurrencies), with minimum and maximum caps. They are charged periodically on a quarterly basis. Positive and negative interests apply to cash assets.

Swissquote reserves the right to pass on the negative interest rates imposed by the ECB and the SNB to any client in the event of non‑compliance or circumvention of this measure.
*The annual custody fee for a trading account in South Africa is 0.15% and will be debited in Swiss francs at the end of each quarter (0.0375%, with a minimum of CHF 15).
The custody fee for legal entities is 0.025% per quarter with a minimum of CHF 40 per year and no maximum.

• If an order is executed (partial execution) more than once over on the same day, the fees are deducted once. If an order is executed more than once over different days, the fees are deducted on each day.
